Oak Common: Description. A tree with leaves pinnatilobate. Tree height 15-40 m.

Oak Common: Chemical composition. Oak bark contains tannins and proteins, organic acids (ellagic and gallic), sugar, mucilage, starch, resins.
Oak Common: Action. Astringent, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, styptic. Eliminates bad breath, strengthens the gums and blood vessels, improves overall health.
Oak Common: Application. In acute and chronic enterocolitis, accompanied by diarrhea, as well as at various bleedings. Externally a decoction of the bark is used for gargling, mouth, and loosening of the gums, tooth pain, as well as bathrooms with skin diseases (wounds, festering wounds, frostbite, fractures, sweating feet to smell, bleeding wounds, bedsores).
Method of application.
1. 1 tablespoon of oak bark for 11 glass of water, boil for 5-10 minutes - for external use and rinse.

Contraindications. With long-term oral rinse decoction of oak bark in some cases, a decrease of smell.
